Your website is an important tool in growing and scaling your business. It’s how you connect with your audience and generate repeat customers. There are many different ways to make money from your WordPress website.
- Sell your products or services – As a small business, you might sell your handmade jewellery, artwork, bakes and foods, own books, or home remedies. You can also make money selling digital products on your website. Some examples are eBooks, workbooks and PDF courses, or other valuable content. You can use platforms like Amazon to generate selling links or setup an eCommerce on your website.
- Sell Coaching/Consulting Offerings – You may want to offer services for businesses or individuals through your website. You can sell services like coaching, copywriting, consulting, website development, yoga, meditation, music and more.. It’s important that your website is professional looking and conveys what you offer. Your website is a fantastic marketing tool to generate customers if they can easily find what they’re looking for.
- Sell Memberships or Courses Online – Your website can serve as a platform for an online course. Depending on the depth of the topic, courses can be short and inexpensive, or more time-consuming and priced higher. This is an opportunity for recurring income from your website. Membership programs generally charge a monthly fee for access to training, community, and other resources.
- Affiliate Marketing – Affiliate marketing is a good strategy to monetize your blog or website. You can choose an affiliate program and create an affiliate link that you’d post on your website to recommend to your website, visitors. When your visitor clicks on the link and buys the product, you’ll get a commission for that sale. It is fairly easy to set up. It provides good passive income.
- Give Advertising slots – Once your website visitor count is high, you can offer advertising on your website. You need to make this a premium offering, and limited to a few advertisements only, as it can shun away your visitors. However, it is one popular way to make money from your website. Running ads takes little effort to set up and you can start monetizing very quickly.
